GENERATION X and Y: DIFFERENT VALUESSIMILAR GOALS
Today's workplace is facing a new generation of workers who do not
embrace traditional beliefs about work. These young employees have
a new way of thinking. They have been raised by television, live on the
Internet, and demand "instant gratification." Unlike older employees
who fully understand the ideas of company loyalty, hard work,
teamwork, seniority, and diligence: these concepts seem almost alien
to these new employees. Instead, they believe they should be measured
by immediate results, new ideas, creativity, and individuality. This
workshop will provide strategies for successfully turning these ideas
into increased performance.
